Onyx tactical sling bags are skillfully crafted in the USA by TravTac to ensure you of the finest workmanship and materials. These rugged, light weight bags feature a Genuine 1000DCorduraTM nylon fabric shell to give you a lifetime of dependable service.
We designed the Onyx for professionals, purposely resisting the typical ‘bells and whistle’ approach of overloading the bag with frivolous pockets, snaps, buckles and cords to give you a clean, versatile bag. You can quickly and easily configure your Onyx bag to fit your particular needs using MOLLE and hook-n-loop accessories of your choice.
The Onyx features three storage areas secured by rugged YKKTM zippers with dual sliders and silent ‘glove friendly’ pulls for easy ambidextrous access. The roomy main compartment accommodates most iPads and tablets, and all three are Velcro lined for attaching hook-n-loop CCW options and many other accessories.
The shoulder strap system easily converts for three or two point shoulder carry (on chest or back, right or left hand) to adapt to any preference, and the strap stows away for hand carry with the handle strap. The long padded tongue provides users with all-day comfort carrying heavy loads and the extra-long strap adjusts to fit from small to very large people - even with protective body armor. Excess strap stows neatly under ladder webbing on the tongue.
Our unique O-Slide stabilizer sternum strap attaches easily and (unlike permanently attached buckles) can be adjusted by simply sliding along the shoulder strap to stabilize and balance loads. The shoulder strap system lets the bag be put on and removed using just one buckle and without passing it over head (important in tight quarters like a command vehicle or hunting blind). The padded mesh backing forms a cooling tunnel for maximum wearer comfort in hot weather.
The Onyx Sling Bag provides you with the uncompromising quality, strength, durability, and flexibility you want without frivolous extras you don’t. Get your stuff together in an Onyx sling bag and discover why we say ‘we designed it for a day, but built it for a lifetime!’
