In our TravTac marketing meeting several months ago my wife brought up a very surprising fact. Our most recent sales statistics show that almost 40% of our TravTac customers are women. Even more surprising is the fact that almost 50% of our repeat sales are to women. Since our product line focuses primarily on tactical and outdoor gear we have always operated on the assumption that our target market is men. Obviously we have been wrong.
Based on the facts my wife suggested that TravTac needs to acknowledge our lady TravTac buyers and expand our offerings accordingly. We agreed that if she could come up with a line of products that fit well with our other TravTac offerings, and that represent great quality and value, then we should give it a try.
After much research and product evaluation my wife came to our next meeting with her suggestions.
